What is embryo culture

The culture of the embryos is carried out in the IVF laboratory where the necessary parameters are controlled and optimised (temperature, pH, humidity, sterility, and so on) in order to obtain their normal development. 

Throughout all the process the objective is to supervise, to evaluate and to select those embryos that, by their morphologic characteristics, offer a greater guarantee of implantation in the maternal uterus. 

Thus, the embryos are cultivated in different sequential mediums that bring in the necessary nutrients continuously in each stage of the embryonic development.
